WHAT WE DO
The Institute uses knowledge, practical and technical skills of its staff and consultants to achieve
sustainable development in villages. It works on projects to improve places where people live
and work, and give them the chance to play their part in shaping change for a preferable and
sustainable future. The Institute produces practical solutions that are simple and sustainable at
local level with lasting results. With long term commitment, using scientific and technical
knowledge, the Institute is committed to participatory approach and capacity building at local
level.
The Institute:
Is working on a Village by Village basis to help end extreme poverty
Identifies projects in Africa, organise fieldwork and supervise post graduate students from
Universities offering studies in sustainable development
Develops and supports governments, industry and community, sustainable business and
sustainable management through-

The work of the Institute is founded on principles of accountability, fairness and integrity in everything we do and expect
the same from our donors and partners. For transparency regular monitoring, evaluation and reporting is integral part of
all projects to encourage stakeholders feedback, interest and project site visits.
